The Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team went one and one last week!
It’s great to see the Falcons fighting hard, even in defeat. That defensive effort, paired with standout performances like Ryan Ellis’s three goals, Darren Fling’s assist, and Gaige Hamburg’s eight saves, showcases just how much potential this team has. Losses can be tough, but they often lay the groundwork for future growth and success!
The Gerstell Falcons dominated St. Vincent Pallotti on Friday, with six players scoring and delivering a strong defensive effort. Juniors Darren Fling (6G, 3A), Bronson Peters (5G, 2A), and Ryan Ellis (4G, 2A) led the attack, while Nate Winnie (2CT, 5GB) and Davis Quenzer (4GB) anchored the defense. Sophomore goalie Gaige Hamburg impressed with six saves and a 60% save rate. This cohesive teamwork secured their second MIAA-B victory, improving their record to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
