Mission

Gerstell Academy is a diverse educational community dedicated to providing a nurturing and mentoring environment where each student's potential to become a leader, to learn, to grow morally, to be physically fit, and to compete is maximized.
Emphasis is placed upon building a strong foundation of fundamental knowledge by providing:
  • A traditional academic curriculum
  • Age appropriate challenges to develop mental and physical prowess
  • Opportunities for spiritual awareness




Our comprehensive program and curriculum, from our youngest students to future graduating seniors, is designed to develop leaders with strong character by educating students to:
  • Think critically
  • Develop self-confidence
  • Respond to the needs of others
  • Make a positive difference or contribution

Our Philosophy

Gerstell Academy is a private, co-educational, independent, not for profit, pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade leadership school governed by a Board of Trustees.

Gerstell Academy is a diverse college preparatory community dedicated to providing a nurturing and mentoring environment where leadership development and mastery of fundamental knowledge are infused throughout the instructional program.
Gerstell provides a unique curriculum which is based on our Leadership Model. Our school is dedicated to developing young leaders who embrace the Gerstell Leadership Principles and Attributes, are able to think critically, be self-confident, physically fit, and be proficient in the Spanish language, while meeting the needs of others.
Students are taught to analyze facts and to generate, organize, and defend logical conclusions. Students will make comparisons, draw inferences, and evaluate arguments without bias. Gerstell Academy students are inspired by the joy of learning from a competent and caring faculty and staff who believe that the future of our country depends on the education of our children.

We are a college preparatory institution that provides rigorous physical training and Spanish proficiency. Each person in the Gerstell Academy community represents an important and intricate combination of cultural traditions, life experiences, and personal beliefs.
