Gerstell Falcons Open Season with Two Wins Showcasing Talent and Determination!

Gavin Larson  delivered an outstanding performance both on the mound and at the plate. He pitched five scoreless innings, allowing only one hit and striking out five batters, while going three-for-four with a double and two singles. John Davis contributed a first-inning triple to spark the Falcons' offense, and both Larson and Davis ended the day with three hits while Brayden Gmeiner added two hits. 

The Falcons followed up with a thrilling 7-6 win against Winters Mill on Friday, capped by Jack Bruffey's clutch solo home run in the seventh inning. Bruffey went three-for-four, adding singles in the first and third innings, and Brody Clark delivered an early RBI single. Larson Bell demonstrated bold baserunning with a steal of home in the sixth, helping the Falcons regain their lead after a Winters Mill rally.  Gage Herb earned the win on the mound. With two victories to start the season, the Falcons have established themselves as a well-rounded and determined team ready for a strong campaign.
