NEHS Students Explore Shakespeare at Folger Library
On Tuesday, March 25th, students from the National English Honor Society visited the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C., for an immersive literary experience. They attended A Room in a Castle, a play inspired by Hamlet, and engaged in an actor talk-back session, where they gained insights into characterization and stage production.
Beyond the performance, students explored interactive exhibits showcasing Shakespeare’s most famous works. They observed a historic printing press and examined the playwright’s global influence, deepening their appreciation for his literary legacy. The trip provided a unique opportunity to connect with Shakespeare’s world in a hands-on and thought-provoking way.
