Parents’ Day: A Celebration of Growth, Connection, and Discovery
Friday, March 7th is Parents' Day in the Lower School. The morning began in the Wilson Room with coffee and a brief message from Mr. Thompson, Head of Lower School. From there, parents equipped with the morning schedule were off to find their child’s classroom! Parents’ Day is an important day at Gerstell Academy as it offers a meaningful chance for families to be a part of their child's educational journey.
Parents’ Day is an opportunity for parents to see firsthand the environment in which their child is growing, learning, and thriving. Parents had the opportunity to work alongside their children on various activities in language arts and math. They were also able to explore the classroom and hallways, taking a closer look at artwork and projects. In addition, parents enjoyed viewing the impressive creations of the Lower School robotics team. Parents’ Day is a day full of pride, reflection, and a little bit of surprise—because let’s be honest, we all learn something new about our kids!
