Boys Lacrosse Secure Early Season Conference Win at Archbishop Curley, Boost Record to 3-0.

The Falcons displayed a true team effort, with Senior midfielders Matthew Scholz and Rowen Myers excelling in the face-off circle, securing 15 wins to dominate possession. Offensively, six different players found the back of the net, including Freshman attackman Adam Borcik, who celebrated his first goal as a Falcon. Defensively, the team excelled for the entire 48 minutes, allowing only one goal—their season's best performance so far.  On Thursday evening, the Falcons claimed an early-season conference victory at Archbishop Curley, improving to 3-0 [1-0 MIAA-B]. The closely contested game saw neither team able to build a lead of more than two goals. By halftime, the score was tied 8-8, but the Falcons took control in the third quarter, capped by a last-second goal from Ryan Ellis, assisted by Darren Fling. This momentum carried them to victory against the 3-time reigning MIAA-B champions, though both teams added two goals in the final quarter. Like many early-season matchups, the game offered valuable learning opportunities, and coaches will focus on refining performance as the season progresses.
