Gerstell Academy Shines at Carroll County’s “Miracle on Main Street”
On Saturday, November 30th, Gerstell Academy participated once again in the “Miracle on Main Street” parade held in Westminster. Gerstell parents’ Chris and Megan Weaver provided a large, holiday-themed float featuring lights, decorations, and a workshop. The thinking behind the design of the workshop centered on Gerstell’s leadership message of “building tomorrow’s leaders today.”
Despite the freezing temperatures, members of the Gerstell community bundled up to participate in the “Electric Holiday Lights Parade.” Some participants rode on the float, waving to the crowd, while others walked the route, handing out mint candies. Adding to the festive spirit, parents dressed up as inflatable snowman and gingerbread man. Thousands of spectators lined the streets, enjoying classic holiday tunes and cheering as the Gerstell float passed by.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Weaver family for their continued dedication, making this year’s event a memorable success.
