Mission Statement

Gerstell Academy is a diverse educational community dedicated to providing a nurturing and mentoring environment where each student’s potential to become a leader, to learn, to grow morally, to be physically fit, and to compete is maximized. Emphasis is placed upon building a strong foundation of fundamental knowledge by providing:

• a traditional academic curriculum
• age appropriate challenges to develop mental and physical prowess

• opportunities for spiritual awareness.

Our comprehensive program and curriculum, from our youngest student to future graduating seniors, is designed to develop leaders with strong character by educating students to:

• think critically
• develop self-confidence
• respond to the needs of others
• make a positive difference or contribution

We shall evaluate our effectiveness and success as a school by our ability to matriculate promising students who incorporate the school’s Motto, Leadership, Honor, and Courage and the Gerstell Principles and Leadership Attributes, into all aspects of their lives.
